A Philosophy
Let your thoughts fly high,Let'em fly 'oer the splended sky.
Dont let anything keep you from playing the game,
Just dont deviate from your path and keep a constant aim.
Dont wait for the ideal time,
Convert every second into a legendary rhyme.
Dont ever fear defeat,
'Coz every lesson you learn is a treat.
Just fly high and high,
Dont look at your past and cry.
Let your thoughts fly high,
Let them fly across the sky.
Each day brings a new light,
And you get closer to the end of this flight.
Even after the end of this flight,
Your thoughts will radiate life-giving light.

Breaking the International Barrios
Breaking the International Barrios
A word with the man himself……..the man behind
BC Sutta….. Saqib Abdullah (a.k.a: Skip), founder of Zeest.
Note: Dear Divik, after viewing your questionnaires, some of the questions were strictly political and biased in nature. Since we have nothing to do with such geo-political and related stuff, I won’t be commenting on them.
Q What kind of student was u in your school days?
Skip: I was very reckless and rebellious in nature. I use to drop my classes and wander around with my friends. Lots of stories and happenings came in my way; it was a very wonderful & memorable childhood.
Q How did you make an abusive song?
Skip: My purpose was not to write an abusive song. It was a catchphrase, which my dad use to say when he was angry on my smoking habit. “BC! Sutta peeta hai lafangon k saath!!”
Q From where did you get the idea to write “Sutta”?
Skip: It’s all about my personal life. I was determined to write something about myself. After some memorable experiences finally I was able to compose something which depicts not only me but it includes everyone.
Q Is there any hidden message behind the song? If yes then please tell it .
Skip: I don’t know, never tried back-masking on my songs :D
Q Your song kinda' triggered off a trend to write abusive songs. So how do u feel when some 1 calls u a legend....?
Skip: Honestly I never realized it. Well in short, I feel good.
Q Why didn't you make any official appearance?
Skip: Well we did appear several times on Television. Recently we performed and gave interviews to a Pakistani music channel PLAY TV & to news channel EXPRESS NEWS. The response was very excellent and in future we certainly will be promoting Zeest more aggressively. Video project is underway.
Q What does Zeest mean?
Skip: Zeest is a Persian word meaning “life”, ‘Existence’; synonymously it can be used as hope, light etc.
Q From where did u get this name?
Skip: It’s commonly used in URDU & Persian literature.
Q Who are the other members of the band?
Skip: Zeest is a duo of me i.e. Saqib Abdullah and Umair Ghauri. Umair is a dexterous, talented and a creative guitarist. While jamming with him I’ve realized that Synchronization among both of us is amazing. So I offered him an offer, a permanent slot in Zeest, which he accepted. As a result Umair joined Zeest in January 2007.
Q What does one have to do to become a member of Zeest?
Skip: Not interested to include anyone. J. It’s just a synergy between me and Umair
Q What message would you like to deliver to the students in India ?
Skip: Firstly, kids don’t try this at home :D
Secondly, I want to make it clear that Zeest is a Pakistani band and doesn’t have any relation with IIT. Till now we have released only song i.e. “BC Sutta”. But soon we’ll be releasing our second song, most probably in October 2008.
Q There are many rumors about you. Which is your most favorite?
Skip: Well yeah there are many rumors but none of them are my favorites.
Q Generally what is your reaction when your heard the rumors about you?
Skip: Very bad, it’s like when everything is available on internet; people don’t even try to do a little research. Normally they rely on words of mouth.
Q When are you releasing your album?
Skip: I’m not sure about the releasing date. We are facing some technical problems. This will take some time. But surely we are on the verge of releasing singles. Hope all of you guys going to love it.
Q Which is your favourite genre of music and which/who is your favourite band/singer?
Skip: We love Blues, Country, Rhythm n Blues, Jazz, Rock n Roll, Soul or a blend of such music. There are so many bands and singers who inspired us. Artists and bands ranges from different genre of music like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Simon & Garfunkel etc.
Q If you get one chance to change something in your life, what will you changes?
Skip: I don’t know. I guess whatever I’ve done in my life it was the best of the time...
Q Name any other abusive song that you like.
Well I love the song ‘B*****’ by Ali Hamza., Guitarist/bassist and co-vocalist of famous Pakistani band ‘Noori’.
Q What message would you like to give to the teachers?
Skip: Make more congenial and interesting environment in the classroom; students like us will never leave.
Q What message would you like to give to the parents of the boys and gals who listen to your song?
Skip: Stop them before they’ll ruin themselves: =D
3} Does your parents know that you have composed this song?
Skip: No not yet. They only know there is a song which is a smashing hit throughout the subcontinent and desi world. I’ll never try to let them know plus they didn’t even like my musical activities too.
Word to Word With an Ex- Roadie [ Laveen Bhardwaj aka. Lave – Roadies 3]

Word to Word With an Ex- Roadie [ Laveen Bhardwaj aka. Lave – Roadies 3]
Laveen is not any ordinary Roadie, has made a history. He was the first person to be voted out in season 3. Now you’ll ask, what’s the big deal in it? So let’s recall something…… Laveen got 12/13 votes.
Q. What was your experience in Roadies 3 audition?
A. Roadies experience was really awesome, we had too many things to do such as adventure task which basically helps to bring personality out and things we don't do in normal life, being on TV is another experience, for many life takes a new turn after roadies, u actually enter into a new world where all things are bling bling. Only the vote out session is always hurting. i mean fighting with your rival on the show is more fun than missing him by voting him out lol :)
Q. How did u feel on the first day of Roadies i.e., when u met the other roadies?
A. When I first met other roadies my reaction was mix, i liked mostly all of them apart the few who made wonder if they were really roadies or it's a joke on me, i think i liked all the girls but disliked few boys.
Q. How did u feel when u found out that you have made a history...u got 12/13 votes..?
A. It was 12/13 vote out against me, but then my producer was happy that my strong character as a villain made his show top the charts, he well appreciated my real character despite the fact everybody voted me out. This fact didn't make me feel down.
Q. What was your experience with Raghu and Ranvijay?
A. Raghu and Ranvijay were hardly interested in me initially; they just planned to take me in for the interview grills me hard for me being too anti then send me home as a looser. But as the interview progressed they got deep inside me and were impressed to the core, since after that they became my best friend.
Q. Do you want to tell anything about Raghu, that you want others to know?
A. Yes Raghu is married now.
Q. How does it feel after becoming a roadie?
A. Life after roadies is never the same, it's more like up to you, it gives a lot to learn as a professional, so if u think u can exploit it good for you otherwise no one is stopping you to ignore the change.
Q. Who did u like the most amongst your fellow roadies?
A. Sonia, Amitinder and Meher.
Q. Do you want to tell any secret about the show?
A. I believe there are many secrets I would like to share but I don't want to spill the beans, it won’t be fair to do so, and it can turn the gossip gallery on.
Q. What tip would you like to give a person who wants to become a roadie?
A. The worst advice anybody can give to you when you sit for the auditions is "just to be yourself".
Q. Any other tip?
A. Sorry no tips. Actually, I don’t believe in giving tips. They don’t work in Roadies.
That’s why.
Q. What message would you like to convey to the students?
A. The power of self confidence but with an edge of knowing how things work can actually make a student a true genius.
Q. What message would you like to convey to the teachers?
A. Simple, if u teach students the English education system then don't blame them for following the western culture but if u want to see them pure Indian then make them learn the Vedas.
Q. If you were made the king of the world, which thing or what would you like to change?
A. If I was the king of the world I would have been a great reformer I would have set an example of kingdom of fundaments.
Q. When you were in school, which was your favorite subject?
A. Mathematics was my favorite. I liked political science a lot but truly when I saw the concept of quota system I suddenly went off with the subject.
Q. You were the first one to get voted out, but you were still very lucky because you got a wild card entry. Do you think that you have missed a major Roadie action?
A. No I really didn't miss the show very much when I was out, I got the real chance to do the best action tasks like grappling, monkey crawling, zorbing, paragliding, hiking, all the mountain adventure tasks like tight rope task which actually test your limits of adventure. It was real thrill but only happened when I was wild card access in the show, apart from this I also wanted to ride in the hills on the bike and doing it to Ladakh was the ride of my life.
Q. What changes did you observe in your life after returning from roadie?
A. I got a real low down of professionalism and I think I’ve learned the art of talking not thru mouth but thru brain.
Q. What change did you observe in the attitude of people towards you?
A. Well they were always nice to me. I think I was pretty hard on them.
Q. If given a chance, would u like to change something which u did in roadies?
A. Yeah! Hit upon more girls u see. I would like to see more kind of me roadies
Q. The version of “Laveen” which all of us saw in Roadies 3...is it the real you?
A. I must tell that nothing from my side was fake. I was in the show only because I was 100% real.
Q. What according to you were or was the reason behind you getting 12 votes?
A. Reason was simple - me extreme.

About the characters –
Captain Hennery Morgan is a well known and one of the best sailor. He has faced all conditions which a person can think of facing in the sea. He has faced pirates in the Caribbean, thugs in India, etc. He has even faced and killed the kraken.
Fabio macron is an Italian, who is a very good friend of Capt. Morgan.
Both of them have worked together under Capt. Scott Rockefeller. Capt. Rockefeller left a will in which gave his ship, The Crusade, to Hennery Morgan, as he is his illegitimate child. But he kept his family name and showed the world that he was far better than his father. He made Fabio his 1st assistant, or vice captain.
This voyage is the most horrific voyages in the life of Capt Morgan. This time he had to deliver two boxes given to him by an unknown man. The only link to reach the addressee was a map which the anonymous man sent it to him with £1000.
The Strange Adventures of Captain Morgan.
Captain Morgan’s Lost Journal
14 January 1806 – it’s too cold. We’ve been travelling since last four months and still there’s no trace of even a small piece of land. Our ship is filled with boxes containing Romanian antiques. We started with a crew of almost fifty nine members but now there are only twelve of them left. All the others are dead.
16 January 1806– It was around 2 am when Pádraig, a two-eighty pound coward beastly person who has this habit of hogging food in the middle of night, saw blood spread all over the deck. He rushed to my room. I have this habit of locking my room door during my short term night sleep. He was so scared that he did not have the nerve to even knock at the door. As a matter of fact he smashed my cabin window with one of the lamp shades, kept in the gallery, to deliver the news to me. Since he had a strange capability of finishing a whole barrel of Stout, we had around 100 barrels of beer on board, I thought that he was drunk and I ignored what all he said. When I got fed up of his chattering, I scolded him and ordered him to go back to his cabin, and not to drink so much that he starts hallucinating.
Today I woke up a bit late - around 8am – as I was very tired after yesterday’s incident with Cody. When I opened the door to the deck, I saw all my crew members standing just a meter or so from the deck, forming an arc. It took me just two seconds to discover that one of the crew members wasn’t standing there. I ignored it, changed my mood to go to the dock and turned back to go to the cargo room. I would have taken just two or three steps when I heard someone calling for me. I turned to see who it was. It was my first assistant, Fabio Marcon, who is an Italian and usually has an expression of joy on his face. But today the expression had turned into an expression of horror and sorrow.
When I moved closer, I had an agonizing experience. I observed that blood was spread all over the deck. On looking upwards I saw Jack, the ship cleaner, hanging from the top castle. It’s not that I haven’t had any onboard death on my ships, but I haven’t seen such an agonizing death.
4 June 1806– It has been almost seven months after Jack’s mysterious death. Also, I haven’t written any word in my journal for the past five months. Not a single one of us has been able to find his killer. Some say that he must have killed himself; Cody says that someone from our crew may have killed him but most of them argue that our ship is haunted. Now I myself have started to believe in the presence of a super natural power in the ship. From the past few days there is this question which keeps popping again and again in my mind. This question has made me restless. I am not able to do any work. This question has given me sleepless nights. Oh! I haven’t written what the question is. The question is that- Have I done the correct thing. I mean that is my decision of coming on this voyage correct? Before setting off Earl, my very close friend’s black dog died. This dog was very lucky for me. It was just like a good luck charm for me and my crew. But it died just a night before we started this journey. Earl and everyone else told me that it wasn’t a good omen and I should postpone our departure. Also, many people stopped me from taking this consignment. They said that these antiques were from a Romanian tomb and were cursed. According to the stranger, whom I met at Joe’s Bar, these antiques belonged to a Romanian dynasty which was supposed to worship the Satan but when their fourteenth generation betrayed it, they were cursed. Their whole kingdom got destroyed. Misery spread all around. Loads and loads of people died mysteriously. And where ever these antiques go, the curse & death follows. Being a follower of The Church of England, at that time I ignored all this. But now I have started to give a second thought to it. Maybe the strangely looking man was correct. Maybe I shouldn’t have had taken this consignment. But now it’s too late to return back.
It is nearly quarter past three and I think I should go to sleep.
5 June 1806– Today Justin became a true sailor. One of his teeth has been troubling him from the last two months or so. Today, ultimately he solved the matter in the old school sailor style. He took pliers and pulled the teeth out.
The weather is too bad. It seems like the weather Gods are annoyed with us. There are thunder showers all over. The waves being formed in the sea are half as high as The White Tower of the Tower of London. From the past thirteen hours or so, the ship has been covered by a thick envelop of mist. The visibility is too low. Fabio, who is sitting at the top castle can’t see anything beyond three feet, but still he is drinking Erbaluce, which is his second love … ha ha ha. In this serious situation also he is cracking absurd jokes. So here it goes: first he asks, “Which creature is the incarnation of God on Earth? “ On replying no, he says, “You fool! It’s dog.” On asking why, he answers, “’Cause on reading God inversely, the word formed is dog.” Justin says that often God really acts like a dog. I don’t know about the Weather Gods, but now Pádraig is annoyed with Fabio, and he is trying to climb on the top castle to beat him up. Everything looks just normal, but there’s a kind of fear in all of our heads. Tomorrow is the 6th of June, 1866 or we should say that 6-6-6. And on seeing all the mysterious happenings which occurred in the past few months, we are afraid that tomorrow something very agonizing may happen.
6 June 1806-- It appears like today the God is in the mood to punish us. The weather is horrible. From the past eight hours there is a storm in the sea. The waves are striking our deck with a great velocity. A thick layer of mist has enveloped our ship. It’s around 9am and the condition is that there is total darkness. It is looking like its night time, but it isn’t.
Pádraig is drinking Stout and is singing an Irish song. I don’t exactly know what the song is about, but from my understanding of the language, I can tell this much that the song is a prayer to God. Everyone is enjoying the song, but I know that each and every one of us is worried about what is going to happen today. Just now someone shouted let me go and check.
Oh my God! Please save us from the evil power. It was Marco. He was keeping a watch at the sea when the rain water turned into blood. The colour of the sea has also turned red. Everyone in the room is praying to God. We had these feeling that something agonizing may happen today, but now at least I am sure that today something really horrible is going to happen. And this time, it would be something worse than our worst nightmares.
The Letter: (Capt. Morgan’s letter to his cousin)
Sir
Sir William Robert Ferguson
74 Paddington Street,
Marylebone,
London, Great Britain.
26 November 1813
Dear Ferg,
I hope that this letter finds you in the best of your health. I am in a small town of Romania and I’m fine. I know that you must be surprised as well happy to read my letter after such a long time. It has been almost seven years since we last talked. Before this I have faced sea pirates, storms, I even fought with a tiger without any weapon. But this time I have an agonizing experience. This time, I myself wasn’t sure that I’ll return alive from that horrible journey. Also, the journal that I was writing was got missing but I somehow managed to get some paper and a pen, and started writing another one. I’m sending you the copy of my journal and some related documents to you with this letter.
I am in Vatican and will return to London after getting discharged from this hospital. Please do not worry, I’ll take my own care, and also the hospital administration is good. The hospital is owned by a local missionary, and after the horrible incident I needed spiritual aid more than medicinal aid. Everyone from the crew, except me and Fabio, has died.
Please inform everyone that I am still alive, and it would be very kind of you if you could inform the families of the crew member that they are dead. The list of the people who went with me on this voyage is kept in the left drawer of the mahogany table in the study of my Piccadilly house.
I will write to you before returning. Give my regards to everyone out there.
Your Cousin,
Hennery Morgan
Captain Morgan’s Second Journal:
8 June 1806 –
The journal which I was writing is misplaced. On 6th of June our ship overturned. The wrathful waves broke our ship into two parts. Luckily, we somehow managed to gather the essential commodities which did not drown with the ship. But unfortunately, only five of us are left. All others have drowned with the ship.
The sun was just to set when I, Fabio, Pádraig, Marco and Justin hit the land. We all were together, holding a wooden plank from our ship and floating in the sea. I was very happy to see that my watch was still working. Pádraig and Justin somehow managed to save two barrels of Stout and a couple of bottles of Rum and Erbaluce. While Fabio and Marco, being very religious saved six rosaries and an old bible from getting swiped away by the waves.
At the time we hit the land, everyone was asleep. Fabio was the first person to realize that we have touched the land. The first thing he did was that he woke me up. We were very happy, but also very sad as this time only five of us were able to make it up till the land. With the mixed feeling of triumph and sadness, there was one more feeling. The feeling of terror.
Fabio is very spiritual, practical, experienced and a religious man. After our small celebration, his first words were,” but we should not forget the fact that we found this land on the 6th of June 1806. The date is a representation of the number of 666. I don’t know about you people, but I feel that this place isn’t right.”
At that time everyone ignored it, but I didn’t. I have known Fabio for a long time. I know that each and every quality. He always corrects my decisions if he feels that they are wrong. He is a practical man with a good humour and moreover, a remarkable sixth sense. He is a dedicated worker. He can easily sense what I feel even if I don’t express them.
It was around 5am in the morning of 7th June when Justin heard a voice coming from the sea. He called me right at that moment. The voice seemed familiar. After ten minutes a blurred image began to appear at a distance. All of us gathered on the part of the shore where Justin was standing. After some time, when the voice became clearer, Marco recognized it as Ivan’s. He was sailing on a large piece of wood, and was carrying the boxes which belonged to the cargo, some paper and a trunk full of important documents. He too had a few barrels of liquor. Fabio said,” We all are bloody drunkards. We wouldn’t ever leave drinking, even when we are in death’s grip. If a person comes to us and says that the court has ordered him to kill us but has agreed to fulfil our one last wish, we would ask for some liquor instead of pleading for our life.” Everyone laughed at this joke of his. It kind of reduced our stress. In the evening, we celebrated life as we all thought that we would die soon and we should spend our very few months or may be days of remaining life in a good way. Also, after the incident which occurred on 6th, none of us thought we will be getting out of the ship alive.
Today in the morning, Ivan handed me a piece of paper, after seeing which I became very happy. The piece of paper wasn’t an ordinary one, but was a map. The map which my Anonymous Client left for me in front of my office with an advance of £ 1000, saying if I delivered the boxes to the right place, I would get £ 7000 more. It was a strange thing, but at that time it seemed like a good deal. But now I regret agreeing to deliver them.
I called everyone and asked them that if they were interested in delivering the boxes. In the beginning, no one except Ivan reacted to my question. He was urging upon delivering them as soon we can. I wonder why he was so hasty. After some time everyone, except Fabio, agreed to it as we were expecting that the addressee will help us to return back to England.
9 June 1806 –
Today we started analyzing the map as well as the terrain of the area in which we were. Soon we found the two rocks which demarcate the initial point of the route mentioned in the map. The only problem is that it seems that no one has visited this place for years. The two rocks and the adjoining land have been covered by a thick layer of weeds, creepers, etc. Justin and Marco are busy in chopping off the growth in the area, while I am writing. Fabio is singing an Italian song. Pádraig is teasing Fabio, but Ivan is behaving strangely. He is sitting totally alone at a distance and is making some absurd pattern on the sand while saying something in some totally unknown language. Even Fabio, who is a bigger linguist than me and has a good hold on almost every language spoken in Europe, isn’t able to understand what he is saying Marco, Ivan’s cousin, says that he has never heard him talk in this language before. Also, he is a jovial person but for the past two days he is acting like we are strangers. Pádraig feels that something is wrong with him.
An hour ago, Justin found a board saying, “He who bears the number 666 rests here.” There was a skull, which looked like it belongs to a goat, hanging from the board. We ignored it assuming that it must be an absurd joke which was cracked by someone who came here before us. But the thing which is bothering us is that Justin also found shoe prints on the sand leading to the woods. On following them, he found that the shoe prints suddenly turn into foot prints of a four legged animal’s print at a point. He came and told this to me. We finally drew the theory that a man must have cracked the “warning joke” and must have gone for a stroll in the wood, where he must have been killed by an animal. Also we’ll have to be more careful while crossing the forest.
Before setting off we once again thought over our decision and finally concluded that the cartons are not our property so we should deliver them to their owner. But Fabio resented going to deliver the cartons. When I insisted, he agreed to go but only if everyone had their rosaries on. I and Fabio were already wearing our Rosary. Soon everyone except Ivan wore a Rosary. When Pádraig insisted to wear a Rosary, he started frowning at him, which was very strange.
11 June 1806 –
On the morning of June 10 we started our voyage. It took us around nine hours to cross the forest. We were very careful while crossing the forest. The forest wasn’t dense like what we were assuming before crossing it. Till the time we came out on the meadows from the forest, the sun was nearly going to set. We decided that we will keep on walking till 10:30 in the night as it was a full moon night.
At 9pm we ultimately crossed the meadows and reached the waterfall mentioned in the map. The ambience was very beautiful so we decided to camp near the waterfall, which I think was a big mistake. The waterfall was surrounded by a thick layer of trees. We soon fell asleep as we were very tired; also we had to gather energy to climb the 80° elevation of the water fall.
At 12am, I heard a hustle in the forest because of which my sleep got disturbed. I woke up, rubbed my eyes and found that Ivan was missing. But I neglected this fact as I was very tired. I was going to sleep when I saw a wolf like figure on the top of the waterfall. I neglected it and went to sleep, as ninety percent of the time they do not harm humans.
In the morning I heard someone scream. I woke up and found out it was Pádraig. Soon Fabio and Marco also woke up. Ivan also came running from the woods. Ivan’s eye looked red but I didn’t bother about it as there was something more serious and agonizing. There was blood all over. Justin’s body had been brutally ripped off by some creature. His head was lying on the ground while his rest of the body was hanging from a tree nearby. First I thought that the wolf which I saw in the night must have killed him but the wounds on his body couldn’t be made by a wolf. Also, the wolf couldn’t have hung him on a tree. It was something must have been something much bigger and deadlier. The water of the waterfall had a reddish appearance. We all were scared and decided to return back. But we were stopped by Ivan who insisted that the animal which killed Justin must be roaming in the forest. Also, we had covered a large distance and if we return back all of our hard work would be wasted.
At 8am, we started to climb the elevation of waterfall. In a time of forty five minutes, we were on the top of it. We were happy but also scared as just now we saw that horrific scene. From the top of the waterfall we got the first glimpse of the mountain which looked like a gorilla’s head. After seeing Justin’s body in that horrendous condition all of us were shaken (Land seemed to slide from underneath us.) Hence for walking for 4hours we decided to camp at the side of the river flowing right in the middle of the beautiful valley.
16 April 1813 –
Fortunately all of us survived the night which succeeded Justin’s death. We resumed our on land voyage at five seventeen in the morning. There has been a thunder storm for the past thirteen hours. The river is overflowing and the water is pouncing.
It was 12 in the noon when we reached the place which looked like an inferno. It was a forest. The average height of trees was nearly fifty meter. The trees formed a canopy not allowing the light to entre inside the forest. The forest was so dense that it did not have any defined trail. We had to create a path of our own. So after resting for some time, at two pm we ultimately decided to enter the forest.
When we entered the forest we were very afraid as well as careful. There was total darkness there. It looked like it was night time, but it was only 2:14 pm. It was like instead of leaves and branches, the canopy was made of concrete. We had to be very careful as God only knew, or maybe he also didn’t know, what time of animal, insect or something more horrific was waiting for us behind the next tree.
None of us was able to recognize that we were lost. We were trying to cross this forest from a hell lot of time, nearly six hours. Since the sun wasn’t visible, the changing intensity of light could not be sensed. At 9pm I called everyone to ask them to find a place where we could camp for the night. Fabio said that each and every corner of the forest appeared the same therefore it wouldn’t make any difference if we sleep here or a mile away. Soon everyone gathered around me. But soon I recognized that Ivan was missing. We all were thinking that he must have been lost and must be dead till now. But Marco, his cousin, was continuously insisting upon finding Ivan. When Pádraig got frustrated and told Marco that, “Ivan is dead and no one cares to find a dead person” Marco got up and went somewhere. At 10pm we heard a scream. It seemed like Marco’s voice. All of us got up and ran to the direction from where the voice came. After sometime, we ultimately found Marco’s body. It was wrapped with blood and was suspending from a pole. The clothes were torn and there was a circle which enclosed an inverted star, on his chest. His blood was all over and blood was still dripping from his neck. The pole was in the middle of an open patch. We were surprised to see an open patch in the middle of a dense forest. We looked around us, but we were not able to find anyone else. We brought Marco’s body down and buried it, after which we went to sleep. When we woke up we saw that the spot where we buried Marco’s body was dug and his body was missing. Moreover, there was a star like figure on the ground. It was made by blood. The thick cover of trees mysteriously got split into two parts. It seemed like someone had chopped off the trees to pave a way out for us. While I was thinking who could have done it Fabio said that we had been asleep for nine days. I asked him how he knew, for which he answered that when we went to sleep, it was the 12th of June and now the calendar in his watch is showing the date as 21st of June. We got ready as soon as we could and started to walk on the path. Pádraig and Fabio, both were carrying one box each.
Soon we found ourselves on a rocky patch of land. The land was burning like a furnace. It was so hot that it felt like we were walking on hot coal. All three of us are born sailors and we are accustomed to experience hardships, so it wasn’t a big deal for us to walk on the hot land. But the question was that why the land was so hot, as the sky was full of cloud because of which sun rays could not have made the land hot like a furnace. On moving further we found the gorge with an old suspension bridge. This place was marked on the map which we had. I saw the time, it was 6am. We moved forward and reached near the bridge. Fabio suggested that we should cross it one by one as it seemed that it was an old bridge and could break if all three of us stand on it at the same time. He also insisted on allowing him to go first. After a long discussion I agreed and finally allowed him to cross the bridge once. Soon tears came in my eyes as Fabio wanted to cross the bridge first because if in case the bridge was weak I would have died, and he didn’t want me to die. It took him five minutes to cross the bridge. Then it was my turn. I took one of the two boxes and started to cross the bridge. While crossing, I looked down. There was a stream with red coloured water, passing between the two mountains. I wondered why the water was red. Afterwards I figured out that it wasn’t water, but was blood. The bridge seemed small on looking at it but was very long.
After me, it was Pádraig’s turn to cross the bridge. He easily covered three fourth of the distance. Then he told me to come to him and take away the second box as he was very tired and wouldn’t be able to carry the box further. I carefully walked to him, picked up the box and walked back. As soon as my feet touched the ground, the bridge caught fire. Pádraig ran towards me but wasn’t able to make it till the end. The bridge suddenly broke and he slipped down. I stretched my hand towards him and finally grabbed his hand but wasn’t able to hold it long. My hold on his hand became loose. His hand slipped from my hand and he fell in the gorge leaving behind the bracelet, which his mother gave him when he was young, in my hand. Pádraig’s mother died last year and the bracelet was the last remembrance of his mother which he had. He loved the bracelet more than his life.
I wore the bracelet on my hand and burst into tears. I and Fabio prayed for him so that his soul can rest in peace. When we turned back we got the glimpse of the fort which was our last destination on this weird island. In front of us, stood a man. He was Ivan; about whom we thought that he was dead. He told us that he didn’t know how he reached here. It was just that he reached here, by the virtue of God or the one with the number 666; no one knows. He lifted both the boxes on his own and wished to carry them alone without any help. I and Fabio were walking together while Ivan was a bit far from us. We were very happy that after delivering the boxes we would be going back home and not empty handed, but with a lot of money.
The castle was situated on a huge rock. When we reached near the rock, the weather turned bad once again. There were thunders in the sky. Soon it started to rain. The colour of water was red and was leaving red marks on our clothes. We rushed up the stairs leading to the castle.
When we entered the castle, we found that the castle was inhabited and there was no trace of life except us. We got depressed. But as soon as Ivan entered in with the boxes, something very weird happened. The door of the castle automatically got shut. Ivan opened the boxes. It seemed like some other supernatural power was controlling him (Later I found out that he was already dead. His body was in control of the Devil. He did wt ever it ordered him to do. He only killed Justin& Marco. He died when the ship drowned.) He took out a sceptre from the first box and a box containing earth from the second box. He rushed towards a door which looked as if it was made up of black diamond. We followed him as there was nothing else which we could do. When we entered the room where Ivan finally stopped, we saw him spreading the soil on the throne kept in the room. Then he kept the sceptre on the throne. After this he took out a skull from his bag pack. He has been carrying this bag pack since we stopped near the waterfall. The bag pack wasn’t there till the night but the next day it was there. He put the skull on the soil. As soon as the skull touched the soil, there was a thunder in the sky which hit Fabio and he became unconscious. The skull started to rise. An animal, or whatever it was, started to form. When the figure got completed, there was a thunder in the sky and within a second, Ivan’s body got burst. His blood spread all over. Soon his blood started moving, imparting colour to the walls of the fort. After few minutes all the walls were coloured in red. The walls had paintings on it, which depicted Satan in 666 different stages.
When the blood coloured the throne, there was a thunder. Soon the figure became alive. Its colour turned burning red with glowing eyes. It stood up, pointed his fingers towards me and said something on Hebrew, which I interpreted as,” You have brought me till here and helped me to regain my powers. I want to make you my general, so come join me.” After saying this he suddenly appeared in front of me. He held my face and started moving his hands down towards my neck. When his hands touched the Rosary which I was wearing, he got thrown away from me. He was on all fours. Then he looked towards me with his burning red eye and said that God wouldn’t give me anything. If I join him, he would give me all luxuries of the world. He would even make me the emperor of the world.
When I refused to join him, he became angry. It got afraid and turned towards the back to try to escape from there. My Rosary got entangled with the broken chandelier and it broke, and fell on the ground. Seeing the Rosary missing, the creature jumped towards me. But suddenly Fabio came in between me and Devil. He held up a crux which he got from the Vatican, and started reading Bible. With each and every word which Fabio read from the bible, the creature became weaker and weaker. Then he handed me a Rosary and a bottle of holy water which he carried wherever he went. He ordered me to tie the Rosary round the Devil’s neck and sprinkle holy water over it. I did as he instructed me. As soon as the holy water touched the Devil, it turned into ash. There was a scream so sharp that it shattered the glass of all the windows of the fort. Due to this scream, both I and Fabio became unconscious.
When I regained my consciousness, I found myself lying on a bed in a secret room in St. Peters Basilica, Vatican City. The room was full of images of Christ. There were more than 100 cruxes in the room. Soon Fabio came in the room with a monk who told me that the creature we faced was Beelzebub. After defeating him our soul became impure and we fainted. Some Jesuit monks in Transylvania got information about what happened to us from a 12 year old boy whose body was captured by Devil. The monks went to the castle where they found us. They weren’t able to cure us, so they brought us here. We were under treatment from the past seven years. My treatment is still going while Fabio’s treatment is over. It may take the monks a month more to totally purify my soul.
............φ............
With this my journal ends. This was the most horrific voyage of my life. In this voyage I lost many close friends of mine but also due to this voyage, one of my close friends became my brother. Fabio saved my life. I doubt that I would ever be able to repay him in my whole life.
I also learnt many things from this voyage. I learnt that if you have true faith in God, then no one can make you suffer for a long time.
Lastly I pray to God that may the soul of people who died in this voyage rest in peace.
